I discovered that Arts Council have expanded their funding remit to now include DJs in their “Developing your Creative Practice” funding. From what I gather it’s essentially support grants from £2,000 - £10,000 for artists to “develop” - and potentially a lifeline for creatives during the Pandemic. Sounds promising.
I did a bit of digging into this and I found the process really confusing, even the guidelines are a tad … vague. You can take a quiz to see if you’re eligible but the questions are vague, too.
I guess my questions is has anyone applied or know someone who has? If so, do you have any tips/clarification on who is eligible?
If you haven’t applied - are you going to? It certainly seems a really attractive prospect but wondering if/what the catch is.
