Hello, I’m a vocalist and based in South London. I have been asked to enter a National Xmas song competition in my home country (original song ideally but can also be a cover song). I need an original song to enter the competition with and calling all experienced songwriters here who may wish to enter with me.
Deadline to enter the song is Friday 29th Nov. (tight, I know!). Therefore, plans need to be made asap to get together, jam, write and record the song etc.
Winner of the competition receives radio play of the song on a National level as well as money cash prize (which we will split).
Throwing it out there if any songwriters out there have a ‘Xmas’ song they wish to write with someone with the aim of getting radio airplay etc or a song already done but needs a vocalist (bear in my mind, my style is similar to Lana del Rey/Ellie Goulding/Robyn etc).
Must have studio to be able to record the song also (one of the rules of the competition is for the songs should be radio edits (suitable for general airplay).).
