Hi HolyBrook
This sounds cool, thank you for sharing. Absolutely love the acoustic sound. Are you also comfortable to diversify across other genres, Blues for example?
Sure. Willing to try most things but I doubt my gangsta rap will cut it!!

Hello All
I’m new to Pirate.com just booked 1st session in Nottingham studios on Saturday, anyone else from this city ? Like to practice and get my playing skills to playa few gigs again .I would like to perform live music, its good to interact with people again.
Want to learn some basic production skills editing, mixing sounds as well, looks like this is the place to learn. Any live Ableton users here ? live electronics its something more to explore.
Hi Mr Sen, welcome aboard! Agree, it’s good to get as much practice as possible. Definitely a few Notts Pirates here, hopefully they will introduce themselves shortly. @Laurence_Pirate @Pear_Pirate are you into Ableton live?

Hi Ali. I would say I am new to this scene 9 weeks ago I never seen a pair of decks, but getting better. Here is a wee playlist I made tonight. https://youtu.be/hgMjg4fgopA
Hi Mike, I only started 9 weeks ago with no experience I am getting there but it’s fun. Here a wee video I made tonight https://youtu.be/hgMjg4fgopA
Hi everyone,
I’m Phil, a 40 something from Leeds. Just made my first booking and really looking forward to my visit.
Perhaps a strange one for me, my younger days are behind me, but used to play the drums in my teens, and always wanted to play again. I just couldn’t justify the cost and, well, I doubt my Mrs would appreciate the noise levels and taking up a whole spare room with a drum kit!
So, after 25+ years of dreaming I’ve found the studio! a safe and soundproofed arena to let loose and rock out with my headphones on (or maybe a place to plug my iPhone in and play along to some of my fave tracks!)
I’ve bought a pair of sticks and can’t wait!
Who am I?
I’m Sam and I am an artist and DJ from Dublin in Ireland
What do I create?
I create Hip Hip and Trap which is my main type of music. I did start out making some House tunes when I was younger and it evolved into the production of Hip Hop, although I have been doing some DJing in some clubs around Dublin as well. I write raps and also like to sing melodies as well
Which studio do I use?
I use Pirate Studios in Dublin! This is pretty handy for me as it is just down the road pretty much. I have been coming here for a while now since it opened up last year and I absolutely love it, always good to come up and have a vibe within the studios.
What do I listen to?
My main influence would be J. Cole and I also listen to Logic, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Kanye West, Juice WRLD and Don Toliver to name a few!
